Because most of the time you’re going to hear Tom’s voice over here – and I’ll be ‘backstage’ uploading pics and editing this blog – I thought I should take the opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself and my photography.

I’ve always loved photography because it’s a great way of not letting your memories fade away. That’s why a couple of years ago, I decided to buy my first DSLR. I just wasn’t happy anymore about the way my memories looked once captured in pixels. A DSLR would magically turn my snapshots into masterpieces of art. At least I thought it would… As I struggled with DOF, aperture and shutter speed, my love for photography only grew stronger. The years went by and what first started as an interesting new hobby, quickly became a true passion and a part-time profession. I finally was able to do what I wanted to do while photographing: showing people the way I see and experience the world.

That last sentence exactly describes why Tom and I decided to start with this blog. To us, music means more than a set of notes being played in a pleasant order. It’s an experience. And through his voice and my eyes we would like you to take part in that experience. Enjoy!
